At the high end of Macallan’s Quest Collection (released for the Travel Retail market) sits the Enigma, this particular expression has been drawn exclusively from European oak sherry-seasoned casks. A combination of sherry puncheons, butts and refill hogsheads, this is a deliciously floral and fruity whisky with notes of tropical fruit, black pepper, liquorice and brandy snaps.
