Crafted by Ichiro Akuto’s Chichibu distillery, one of Japan’s newer distilleries, this exclusive release has been bottled for The Whisky Exchange and represents the third installment in the Taboo Series. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese proverb ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,’ this expression, distilled in 2014, matured in a single red wine cask for a duration of 7 years. Limited to just 271 bottles, this whisky has been bottled at a robust 59.5% abv.
