From Speyside distillery Glentauchers-Glenlivet. This 10-year-old whisky was distilled in 2010 and left to mature in a sherry cask until bottling in 2020 when it was bottled for the Cadenhead’s Sherry cask range. The nose is very sweet. With a combination of candy apples, fruit crumble and Madeira cake. The palate is vanilla, salted caramel, and a hint of black pepper. The finish: cinnamon, sour grapes then fading out with a appealing drying finish. One of 300 bottles released.
