One of only 180 bottles this SMWS was bottled in the year 2000 with Refill Ex-Oloroso Sherry Butt being the cask-type. The palate neat: sweet heather honey, lavender smoke, peaty toffees, crispy langoustines with coconut shallot crunch and oysters Rockefeller. With a drop of water smoked oranges, sea spray, pepper, tar and a peaty Pina Colada appeared served on a reclaimed plank from an old pirate ship and to taste sweet, floral and smoky – dates and figs in peaty cocoa powder.
