This is the 12 year old Fine Oak edition which is an extremely popular Macallan. First taste is of dark chocolate, ripe pears especially, sultanas, dates and with a hint of honey. It has some subtle sweetness and vanilla persist, setting the stage for a beautiful warm and spice finish.It won Whisky Bible Awards 2012 and was the Best 11-15 year old Single Malt Scotch of the Year (multiple casks).
