Distilled at Glen Scotia in Campbeltown using peated barley, this 2003 vintage single malt has been specially selected as the distillery’s festival bottling for the 2019 Campbeltown Malts Festival. This limited edition is bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.3% abv and matured for at least 15 years and finished in a rum puncheon. The nose is sweet and fruity with a slight prickle and rich plum notes. The palate brings more sweet fruits with a maritime salt aspect, rum toffee and a distinctive peat note in the finish. A very nice dram indeed!
