An 8-year-old single malt from an undisclosed distillery, which has been given the Darkness! treatment. Before being bottled at cask strength, this whisky was allowed a finishing period in tiny, specially-coopered casks that previously contained Pedro Ximénez sherry. It’s got peat and sherry notes by the bucket-load. It’s by no means a subtle expression. It’s ace. Only 438 bottles were produced.
