The 2021 Edition of Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask Matured results from the blending of 33 casks—9 fully matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and 24 subjected to a finishing period in PX casks lasting between 12 and 18 months. The harmonious combination of these two approaches to PX influence achieves a balance between the sweet, syrupy notes imparted by the PX casks and the distinctive elements of classic peat smoke and citrus character inherent in the Kilchoman spirit. Limited to 12,000 bottles, this edition stands as a testament to the intricate marriage of flavours.
