Ardbeg An Oa is the first new addition to Ardbeg’s ongoing core range for more than a decade when introduced in 2017. It is a combination of spirit aged in Pedro-Ximenez sherry casks, charred virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels which were all married in Dr. Bill Lumsden’s new ‘Gathering Vat! The result is subtly smoky whisky with creamy toffee, fresh peach and bananas flavour with sweet spices coming to the end.
