Description
This is a bold, richly flavoured expression of the iconic Laphroaig Single Malt. The whisky has travelled far—first from Scotland to the USA, then to Italy, before finally making its way back to the UK.
Nose: Opens with classic smoke and dry peat, followed by hayloft aromas, smouldering oak staves, hints of herbs, pepper, parchment, and a gentle waxiness.
Palate: Brimming with coastal character, layered with mineral notes and dry roasted nuts. The smoke and peat build steadily, joined by salted caramel and bonfire toffee apples. The long smoky, peaty finish softens into a rich, mouth-coating toasted fruitcake.
