A 2005 Scapa single malt from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail that was matured in a single first-fill ex-bourbon barrel for 17 years, before being bottled in August 2022 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Aromas of poached pears, passion fruit, honeysuckle, green grass, lemon sherbet and toasted oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of tropical fruit, mixed nuts, dark honey, desiccated coconut, orange zest, rose water and pink pepper throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
