Benromach Peat Smoke is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. The colour is a pleasant light Gold. A very rich smoke with fragrant vanilla and light citrus zest aroma. Inklings of apples chaperoned by white chocolate. The palate – Smooth with toasted oak, honey and sweet ripe fruit. Butterscotch and marshmallow flavours lead to a lemon sherbet all partnered with sweet smoke. The finish a mouth-coating of sweetness.
