Hghland park remains one of the gold- standard malts for other distillery bottlings to aspire to. This spectacular 12 Year Old expression had a full-on Viking make-over in 2017, called Viking Honour. The whisky remains as delicious as ever with a warming silky mouth feel.
Highland Park have teamed up with Ian Rankin to create this special edition of Highland Park Rebus 30 10 Year Old, a special edition of 10,000 bottles to mark the 30th anniversary of the iconic Edinburgh detective John Rebus, one of crime fiction’s best loved creations.
The Highland Park Rebus 30 10 Year Old whisky was created collaboratively by Highland Park Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion and Ian Rankin. Ian was invited to visit the distillery on Orkney where he chose a special single cask. The whisky’s flavour profile was chosen according to what Ian felt Rebus would prefer – cask no 3272, was ‘dark, complex and with a long finish’.
This is a well aged sherry hogshead matured whisky from Highland Park. Distilled in 1995 then bottled by Morrison & Mackay Ltd as part of their Carn Mor range in on the 18th of August 2015.

The second release of the 13 year old expression follows on from a popular blended malt that Morrison & MacKay created for the Old Perth series, combining whisky from three hugely respected distilleries – Highland Park, Macallan and small amount of Glenrothes. A small release of just 620 bottles were produced.
