Description
The second release in Springbank’s Sherry Wood Series, this whisky spent six years maturing in bourbon casks before finishing for four years in Palo Cortado sherry hogsheads made from Spanish oak. The nose offers delicate aromas of parma violets, buttercream, and peaches, with subtle hints of cola and grated ginger. On the palate, gentle peat smoke intertwines with flavors of red velvet cake, strawberry laces, and icing sugar.
